The Elmo is a high resolution (XGA) visual presenter that features both top and base lights. High quality images from the Elmo may be output via VGA, composite or S-Video. Units feature auto-focus and a powered zoom lens. They are also capable of easily switching to another video source (such as a laptop). The selected signal then can be sent to a video data projector and displayed on a screen -- or used in conjunction with other display devices such as a TV, video monitor, flat panel plasma or LCD monitor or projection TV.

The Elmo is very versatile and may be used to present transparencies, slides, negatives, three-dimensional and opaque materials (such as letters, newspaper clippings, memos, photographs, etc.) The are popular for use in court rooms, mediations, training and other  types of  presentations.
